The first Danai Lama Gendun Zhuba had got ordained hereand studied Buddhism for seventeen years.The most famous of Natang Monastery are the workshops for printing Buddhist sutras. In 1730,the local government of Tibet presided over the creation of the printing house in order to save andcarry forward the Tibet ancient books and scriptures. After long-term efforts, Natang Monasteryprinting blocks has carved and printed a large number of Tibetan works, such as the Tripitaka "Kangyur" one hundred and eight pieces and the sparse Buddhist note " Tengyur" two hundred andfifteen pieces.Tripitaka in Tibetan is classified into Kangyur and Tengyur, divided into two parts. Kangyurmeans "the Buddha words", the Tengyur means "the view of Buddha and senior monks" that bothof them mainly included the discussion of disciples of the Buddha and Buddhism Buddhistscholars in latter times.
