To avoid it, all kinds of exposed wires be dealt with or kept away from the crew or people passing by. Care should also be taken to label the wires correctly, use right insulation & making the crew aware of the position of electrical lines.
  • 3. Care For Elevator Shafts Elevator shafts are another serious cause of accidents and result in broken limbs or even death. To avoid elevator shaft accidents, proper guard rails, safety nets, onsite training and signs should be placed. And finally a quick response service for emergency situations be placed.
  • 4. Avoiding Head Injuries One way to avoid freak accidents like debris falling on the head or the head hitting against something, is to wear hard hats or helmets all through the construction site. In fact no person should be allowed in the vicinity of the construction without a hard hat.
  • 5. Machinery Accidents Heavy machines require constant monitoring and maintenance for ultimate safety. Cranes and other huge sized equipments should never be overloaded or worked beyond their normal capacity. Other machinery should be checked before commencement of work.
