• 4. Objectives
In order to obtain our goals, we designed some objectives.
Our objectives were:
To use every piece of media that is available to us students to promote the event
To have more and better prizes and give-a-ways for our guests
To have an open event for all to attend
• 5. Target Market
Our target market was the community of Mt. Pleasant MI.
This target market also included the community of Central Michigan University.
We marketed to them through flyer, new paper ad and radio.
• 6. Marketing
Marketing on any campus for an event is hard to do.
Our flyers had to be fun and lively in order to get families and student to our event.
Including those that signed in for extra credit from two classes.
Almost 2/3 of our guests had stayed at least ¾ of the race. This was due to our involvement with having one specific prize the M&M Guessing game, the winner must be present.
All premium items we had received from NASCAR were given out to our guests.
Many of the guests had asked about the cases studies and the planning of the event. We have several of the guests as about doing the program next year.
• 12. Actual Budget
• 13. Budget
With our budget we were lucky enough to not have to pay for a venue fee at Buffalo Wild Wings. The giveaways were popular as were the guessing contests. The food was excellent along with the great enthusiastic crowd.

The marketing of the event was well done as a very diverse group of people gathered for the event. My family talked about NASCAR more than they aver have following the event.

If you ain'trubbin' you ain'tracin'!

Good job done by all. “

Jim Conway, CAAMt. • 25. Sacred Heart Academy
“The NASCAR Event hosted at Buffalo Wild Wings was a huge success. Not only was the food and atmosphere incredible, the large screens that surrounded us were enticing and made you feel you were participating live. Students in my class at Sacred Heart Academy were invited to attend and took advantage of the many promotions. They too, were amazed by the atmosphere. Several of those who could not attend expressed their disappointment for having missed the event. Many are looking forward to the next NASCAR Kinetics Event in Mt. Pleasant. Congratulations to the CMU NASCAR Kinetics Team on a job well done!”Lori SmithSacred Heart AcademyJunior High Global Studies/US History Teacher
