The event will take place tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Wealth. Business. Health. Promise Day will include student-centric activities that showcase the positive benefits of maintaining emotional, fiscal, mental, physical and social health. We will also have a rock wall, an inflatable bounce house, live entertainment and complimentary healthy meals. “With today’s focus on the Affordable Care Act, a culture of health is becoming increasingly important for Human Resource professionals,” said Dr. Kathy Tuberville, director of the Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center. “Memphis has an increasing number of supportive employers and leaders who are committed to redesigning the community environment with a focus on healthy living standards. A culture of health is growing in the Memphis community and FCBE is taking initiative to introduce a successful and healthy lifestyle to its students.” Promise Day is a celebration of the Complete Professional Program and its purpose to help business majors succeed in business and life. FCBE students, faculty and staff are encouraged to make a commitment to do their best in all they undertake, to make positive contributions to the community and to strive to achieve their full potential in their personal and professional lives. Please feel free to visit during this fun-filled event to see how FCBE keeps students committed to healthy life choices. The mission of the Promise Day Initiative is to holistically develop students that are well-suited for society. ###
