This is the first in an ongoing series of power lunchesand evening forums of our new Consumer Education and Consumer Action Project named afterthe Rev. Willie T. Barrow, former aide to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr who taught Dr. Kingseconomic principles under Dr Kings organization Southern Christian Leadership Conference(SCLC), then under Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. at Operation Breadbasket, Operation PUSH andRainbow/PUSH Coalition; and was a longtime mentor to Mark S. Allen, Chairman of NationalBlack Wall Street Chicago, and former aide to Rev. Jackson.
