An experienced financial professional, Donald L. Koch
has served as the president and chief executive officer
of Koch Asset Management, LLC, since 1988.
Throughout his career, Donald L. Koch has been active
with several organizations, including the National
Association for Business Economics (NABE), a
professional society that serves the economics
community through a range of programs and activities.
In its efforts to help economists advance their careers,
NABE offers its members a number of continuing
education courses that place emphasis on practice over
theory. NABE also operates a Certified Business
Economist (CBE) program, which is designed to give
those in the economics field the skills and knowledge
needed to become successful practitioners.
NABE members who wish to earn a CBE designation
must already hold a four-year degree and have at least
two years of work experience in business economics or
another related field before entering the program.
Candidates who meet these criteria are then required
to complete courses through NABE and pass a
comprehensive examination in order to become a CBE
designee. The designation must be renewed every two
years through completion of at least 30 hours of
