National Program for Family Planning and Primary Health Care Commonly known as “Lady Health Workers’ Programme”, National Program for Family Planning and Primary Health Care was launched in April 1994 by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto, as a major initiative to provide universal health coverage to the people of Pakistan
