(Smart Objectives)The students will learn that numbers are made of parts. Recognize that anumber can be used to represent how many objects are in a set or asequence.What is the purpose of the PowerPoint?The purpose of the power point is for students to interact with the slidesand count out numbers with objects representing them.Which part of the lesson will the PowerPoint anchor?The power point will help with the interactive part of the lesson. Duringthe power point there are questions where students can raise theirhands to volunteer and come to the computer and try to answer thequestion.How will you know they meet your objectives?Before and after the power point students will use actual objects torepresent numbers at their desks to practice.
