  • 1. “Morales-Botero not only brings theFaces of the homeless to light onfilm as he spends time on the streetsof the city, but he imprints their storieson the hearts and the minds of theViewers. The stories of the homelessresonate into the tale of “every man”, as heintroduces homeless citizens who could be ourparents, our children, and even our ownselves.” By Pamela Ruben
  • 2. We are without a home, not a heart......
  • 3. TAKE ME HOME Ayden playfully wanders the park like any other 6-year-old kid but as theday ceases and the weariness increases,Ayden unlike others of his innocentage, had no home but that park. He, along with his family was displacedfrom his house. Thats how Fabian Morales Botero, a Colombian filmmakerfound him and was dumbstruckby his story. Perhaps allured by Aydens vividpersonality and his sweetness despite his circumstances, Fabian was movedbeyond his tears, and to action. “Take me home” explores the lives of several homeless whose stories willnot only belie our prejudices but will bring us closer to their reality than wecan imagine. “Take me home” drives light on a huge problem and delivers abig blow of human hope.
  • 4.  This documentary was started by a simple idea; a single man’s passion touse his art to raise awareness and its now heading a revolution around thenation. Fabian Morales-Botero (Director), Beth Davalos (social workerfeatured on “60 mins”),Arielle Metzger (16 year old girl featured on severalTV shows as a homeless kid) and many more have joined forces, challengingsociety to come together and be aware of the new faces of homelessness. Several Networks have praised Fabian Morales-Botero, “as the first Latin-American director to bring us a realistic approach that is often ignored byour American society; becoming one of the first Latino directors todocument American indigence in the United States.”

  • 7.  Beth Davalos, (SocialWorker)Floridian of the year 2013nominee. Known as one ofthe strongest homelessadvocates in the Nation.
  • 8.  “Spending more time with them, I felt more fully alive---perhaps the wayour ancestors felt, nomadically moving from place to place, yet, withsupportive companions, always. But, above all, I saw society at largeclinging to the tired excuse---only human---intentionally shielded fromthat which we once knew, instinctively---that kindness and caring is onlyhumane; it was with them that I felt safe, it was by them that I was shownthe greatest love I have yet to feel, it was with them that I became aware.”Fabian Morales-Botero
