  • 2. Natural Approach is a language teaching method which is based on the assumption that learning a foreign language must follow the same patterns as the learning process of the native language and also emphasize the necessity of exposing the learner to hearing and understanding the language before requiring the learner to speak
  • 3. Listening To Improving Student’s Skills Reading Speaking Writing
  • 4.  In the classroom, students listen to the teacher communicating in the target languange (English) from very beginning stage.  The teacher speaks only the target languange and class time is committed to providing input for acquisition (focuss on material)  Students are rarely corrected when they orally express themselves because the meaning is more important than the form.  The important thing is there’s no Grammar agenda as such : the learners perform the tasks to the best of their ability
  • 5. 1. Preproduction : the stage at which listening skills are being developed. 2. Early Production : the stage during which students are challenged to use the language orally and are corrected only when the mistakes hinder the content of the message. 3. Extending Production : the stage at which students develop their fluency through various activities
  • 6. The Communicative Approach, also known as communicative language teaching (CLT), emphasizes interaction and problem solving as both the means and the ultimate goal of learning English - or any languange. As such, it tends to emphasise activities such as role play, pair work and group work.
  • 7.  It’s emphasis on the learning of spesific Grammatical rules and more obtaining native-speaker, like fluency and pronounciation  The Communicative Approach initially prioritizes communicative competence over accurate grammar.  Let your students communicate first, build on their accuracy after
  • 8.  Students become flexible  Allow the learners to practise speaking frequently  Implementing of exercise can be fun and meaningful for students  Students can do games, role play, and problem-solving tasks  It can express student’s ideas and opinion
  • 9.  Open-minded of teachers/ instructors are required to teaching the target languange  It’s not quitetext oriented  Students are allowed to make mistakes but they need to be corrected  Students have no list, so parent is not aware of the assigment to be practiced at home
