U.S. companies wanting to get in “on the ground floor” and thinking about selling to, buying from or investing in Cuba have professional market research services available today from experienced professionals working as a team in the U.S. and Cuba. Our new team is prepared to help companies identify business prospects and provide background information on potential business partners.  Chief Researcher Reynier Ortiz, based in Havana, has already completed an in depth market research this summer for a U.S. tannery, seeking alternative sourcing from Cuban goat and sheep herds.  Researcher Frank Martinez, currently based in the Miami area, has market research experience in Cuba and works with the Cuban-American community in Florida.  PNWA Senior Advisor for Latin America & Caribbean Stephen Murphy, based in Seattle, recently met University of Havana’s Business School Dean, the Catholic Cultural Center’s Rector, hoteliers, restaurateurs and travel agents while in Havana. “We’re excited to have accomplished researchers like Reynier and Frank joining our group to conduct market studies in Cuba. After 50 years, the Cuban market is unknown territory to American business. We now have the expertise in-house to identify business opportunities and substantiate potential Cuban partner qualifications. We are looking forward to helping promote more investment and two-way trade between Havana and Miami and Seattle, said Jonathan Bensky, CEO,‟ and Pacific Northwest Advisors. “I am delighted to work again with top professionals like Reynier and Frank ‘on the ground’ to help business enter the Cuban market,” Stephen Murphy, Senior Advisor, Latin America & Caribbean, stated. “Team Cuba has already helped one firm reconnoiter sourcing options inside Cuba, and now offers all firms- especially in tourism- a cost effective and professional approach to identify Cuban business opportunities in Havana.” Information on Team Cuba’s experience and expertise is enclosed.
