  • 3.  Fashion an attention getting, sticky headline!  Create a short, 1-2 paragraph blurb that will hook reporters or readers – and give them a hint of the big news!  Use specific keywords  Build 3-4 chunky paragraphs that detail the announcement  Include a link to the specific landing page on the website of your business.  Distribute the press release online by using PRWEB, PRNewswire, Business Wire –try to stagger dates of release. Search engines will exclude replicates.  If your site has a blog, insert the press release as a post and distribute through RSS feeds.  Journalists and bloggers may pick up the story of your release if it is relatable- make this stress-free!  Don’t forget to add #30 at the end of your press release.  More help? contact April Brewster Smythe
