  • 1. DigiPak: One Republic Native By Georgina Gaber
  • 2. Front Cover The concept of there being 5 different animals on the album cover was thought of by representing each of the band members and how different each member is. The lead singer, Ryan Tedder, is represented by a fox. The fox can represent a sort of teacher or guider, much like Ryan is by being the lead singer. Drummer, Eddie Fisher, is represented by a mountain lion. The mountain lion can represent leadership but unlike the lead singer ‘doesn’t have to lead through force’. By all the members having leadership qualities, the band don’t have the mentality of having one leader and four backup performers. The rhythm guitarist, Drew Brown, is represented by an owl. The name of the album was thought by the bass player, “Native” means to be indigenous to all countries. The lettering is in reference to a native or tribal script. The bass player, Brent Kutzle, is represented as a gazelle and the lead guitarist, Zach Filkins, is the bison.
