For more visit: www.hds.com. <br />THE OPPORTUNITY<br />To provide Solutions support across the full HDS portfolio to a selection of key Hitachi<br />Data Systems customers and prospects in support of the HDS sales objectives.<br />In addition the person will have responsibility for driving the development of the HDS File<br />and Content Services solution HNAS, to both existing and potential HDS customers<br />across Germany. You will own, build, and develop the NAS arena working with our inside sales team, account managers, channel and partners, effectively you will be a expert subject matter a natural evangelist who lives and breaths NAS.<br />PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES<br />• Working with the members of the HDS account team, to promote and sell the<br />NAS range to a defined customer base, including new prospects. Responsibilities<br />include proposing of campaigns directly to defined opportunities, and also assisting<br />with the development of new offerings.<br />• Develop and execute Country specific business and enablement plans in support<br />of the NAS opportunity.<br />• Provide proposals and presentations to potential NAS prospects.<br />• Responsible for the Sales Account Management of nominated existing NAS<br />Customers, and new Customers won. Duties include; Developing further NAS sales<br />opportunities; Customer Satisfaction; Renewals of Contracts; Revenue and margin<br />monitoring.<br />• Work internally and with partners to develop and execute business cases with<br />strategic partners in support of the NAS Solution to ensure we mutually have a<br />viable business opportunity<br />• Personally supports channel by directly interfacing with channel partners and<br />meeting with key customers to present technical reviews, demonstrations, initial<br />requirement gathering, and assisting partner sales representative with<br />maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.<br />• Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by<br />establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals for channel partners..<br />• Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and<br />discount rates in design of sales programs to aid channel partners in market<br />penetration.<br />• Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.<br />• Drives and manage metrics to gauge program sales and return on sales<br />promotion success..<br />• Represents HDS at trade association meetings and shows to promote the NAS<br />range.<br />• Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas<br />of proposed expansion.<br />• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.<br />EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION<br />• Excellent communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills. Must be able<br />to communicate at all levels of an organization.<br />• 7-10 years minimum in a technology sales environment with a proven track<br />record of success.<br />• Storage experience preferred with knowledge of File and Content services<br />solutions.<br />• Superior project management and organizational skills with high level of attention<br />to detail.<br />• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills<br />• Superior soft skills and ability to bridge internal and external elements to drive<br />specific goals.
