Transcripts - \\Nasstudusers\1$\N0277612\Recommendation For Jordan Brown

  • 1. September 15, 2009 To Whom It May Concern, Jordan Brown was an employee at our co-ed, overnight camp – Camp Echo – for the past two summers, from June through August of 2008 and 2009. Our camp day is long – often fourteen hours a day, and our counselors work six days a week for seven straight weeks. The weather is often hot, sometimes rainy, and the campers can be quite demanding. Camp work requires a person with incredible patience, never-ending enthusiasm, a sense of humor, and a great love of children. Jordan ran the arts and crafts program for our entire camp of 350 plus campers. As an Arts and Crafts specialist, Jordan was responsible of planning projects for many groups of children whose ages were from 6 to 16 who went to arts and crafts as part of their program. Jordan also lived in a cabin with a group of boys and was their counselor when he wasn’t in arts and crafts. These times were during meal times, evening activities, and sleeping in the cabin. Throughout the summer, it was obvious that Jordan really loves working with children. Jordan was always there to lend a helping hand to all of our staff members and children who needed help with creative ideas in the arts department. If you have any specific questions, please contact our office at 201-251-0414. Sincerely, Cindy Grabow Owner/Director cindy@campecho.com
