Products  Basement : Readymade Suits, Dhotis and Home Furnishings  Ground Floor and 1st Floor: Sarees (Kanchipuram, Banarasi, Crepe, Bandhini, Kora Silk, Printed Crepe and Chiffon, Tussar Silk, Kora Cotton, Chandheri, Chikan Work, Poly Cotton, Village Cotton, Poly Sarees) to name a few  2nd Floor: Suit Sets, Fabrics, Saree Borders, Dupattas, Handbags and Purses
  • 4. Pricing Price varies according the Saree material bought  Minimum price is for Poly Cotton starting at Rs. 300 to as high as 1 Lakh for Kanchipuram Sarees  No discount is offered in at any time  No Bargaining Policy  Vouchers are available in denominations of Rs. 250, 500, 1000 and 2000

  • 8.  100-150 employees in store Staff of Nalli Sarees are recruited from Chennai  Salary ranges from Rs. 8000 to 40000 (at the Store Manager Level)  Salary paid on 1st of every Month  Bonuses are given 2 times a year  No formal Training is given to the employees  Leave 4 days/ month i.e. 1 day/ week (except on Saturdays and Sundays) Since employees are not locals they are provided fooding and lodging in the Nalli Store @ Rs.445/month
  • 9.  Loyal customers as old as 15 years  Satisfied by Quality  50-60 % customers purchase forwedding, rest go for regular purchases FOOTFALLS:  Week days: 10 – 20 customers/ day  Weekends: 300 – 400 customers  Diwali/ Karvachauth: 500/day

StoreOperations  Specialty products like Banarasi Silk, Bangalore silk are sourced from the native places through dealers  Other products are stitched at Noida in presence of their own workers who get it delivered to the Store  South Ex store is main where they have in – store stitching facility for suits and supply to other stores as well

Supply Chain & Inventory management  Fixed payment terms with suppliers, no commission  Merchandise returned are not sold again and are returned back to the Suppliers  Stocks are replenished twice a week  When a merchandise is not in stock the name and contact number of customer is taken  They also supply dresses to business houses/ college uniforms (Sarees)
