  • 5. THE AUTHOR Marcelo Bohrer is a designer known for his various innovative creations. After living several years in a very accelerated rhythm, he suffered a burnout: physical and mental collapse caused by stress. The experience leads him to the desire to investigate in more depth the problems resulting from the culture of acceleration and then on to directing his work towards the concept of wellness. In 2006 he formulated the concept of Nadism and began its promulgation though the Nadism Club and though events which gradually acquired followers in Brazil and abroad. It also received ample attention from the press. In Brazil in October, 2008 he launched his book “Nadism — A revolution without doing anything” (Ed. MegaLivro) and in 2018 the second edition “Nadism — The Art of enjoying Moments Doing Nothing". From the fruits of his knowledge in the area, Marcelo also presented the lecture: Nadism - Breaking the Culture of Acceleration. In recent years, aside from being the creative director of Marboh Idea Design, a consulting company specialized in innovative projects, he is professor of the strategic design course at ESPM and for the Teenage Dream Project, a workshop which teaches creative entrepreneurship for high school students.
