  • 2. Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) Selected by Ministry of Defence as a one of the few volunteer to assist Langkawi Internation- al Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 13’) & (LIMA 15’). The responsibilities that was given to me includes:  Get an assignment to be Liaison Officer for delegates from Royal Navi of Oman and Chief of Air Force from Pakistan Air Force to ensure that the delegates follow his schedule.  Become a Liaison Officer for Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak and ensure that the events proceed smoothly without any problems.  Professionally communicating and develop self-confidence in dealing with important figure through provided protocols.  Get an exposure and create new networking related to maritime and aerospace field. ACHIEVEMENTS & PARTICIPATIONS ACADEMIC PROJECTS Final Year Project Effect of Model Plant Mismatch in Model Predictive Controller Performance Develop a non-linear model of Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor System (CSTR) using MATLAB-SIMULINK to represent the plant. Design and implement a model predictive controller (MPC) using a linear transfer function model to the plant. Introduce mismatch on the gain, time con- stant and time delay of the plant and investi- gate how the performance deteriorates. Plant Design Project Calcium Carbide Plant Design a chemical plant starting from scratch by deciding on which type of plant should be build, economic analysis and designing P&ID and PFD for the plant up until the end which consists of designing major equip- ment. Assigned to produce material balance, eco- nomic analysis, control system and also de- sign a major equipment which is Electric Arc Furnace and two minor equipment which is water storage tank and a pump. Inherently Safer Design Using DOW Fire and Explosion Index (F&EI) and process stream index Engineering Drawing Develop and build block diagram of a Plug Flow rate Tubular reactor by using AUTOCAD. Unit Operation Lab 1 Research and modify Heat Plate Exchanger to increase the efficiency of heat transfer in the heat exchanger. Health, Safety and Environ- ment Research about major accident in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Phar- maceutical plants. The causes, relief measures, consequences and lesson learnt. Engineering Team Project Develop or create any invention that related to Science, Technology or Engineering in a group. The innovation will be evaluated by experts in the field related to the project  My project title is Eco-Homes.  It is selected as Top 30 Projects in that semester.  The project is selected to compete in 31st edition of SEDEX (Science & Engineering Design Exhibition).
