Fifth Third Bank|
INTERN| Assisted the General Manager with customer service and assisted the Investment Banker with
investment files. Duties included, lobbying and greeting customers, taking deposits, withdrawals, and
credit card payment orders through the drive-thru and filing investment files.
Worked on the children's television show The Good Time Kids. Duties included setting up the studio with
props, lighting, and markers. Also contributing to interviewing special guests and doing introduction
segments on air. Traveling with the company to do live performances such as community events and
water park appearances. Going over the scripts with the director and actors.
INTERN| Assisted the director of customer service. Duties included filing and copying paperwork, data
entry, use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and mailing invoices to customers.
STUDENT WORKER| PHILLIPS LIBRARY| Student worker at Phillips Library. Duties include managing the
circulation desk and technology desk.
SALES ASSOCIATE| | Cashier and stock associate. Duties included informing customers of sales and
promotions, answer customer phone calls, and floor customer assistance.

STUDENT WORKER| Secured campus buildings by checking locked doors, looking for suspicious activity or
persons, helping lost individuals on campus, checked parking lots for suspicious activity and any damage

Coursework include Professional Communication, Writing for Communication, Introduction to Marketing,
Business Management, and Digital Marketing. In each of these courses students were required to present
various topics and 10 minutes of presentation or more.

Clubs & Organizations
American Marketing Association- Digital Marketing Social Media Coordinator for the AUAMA
Facebook Page using Hootsuite. Also community service events like the Walk For Hope, that raises
awareness and support for domestic violence survivors. Also I cover AMA events such as the AMA
Collegiate Conference at the Hilton.
Activities Programming Board- AU After Dark & Commuter Life, and Nightlife- Plan social events
for students on campus and use marketing strategies to connect with local businesses to contribute
to these events.
Black Student Union- PR Board- Participating in community based events such as the Martin Luther
King celebration to involve the Aurora community. I specifically was apart of the team that set up the
MLK book display in the library to honor our guest speaker poet, Nikki Giovanni. Also I contributed to
the MLK panel to speak to high school students and morning of community service at the Aurora food
Fashion Loves You- Member- Participating in the community based organization that emphasizes
creativity and confidence through fashion and teamwork. This organization annually puts on a fashion
show displaying what students have worked on all year.
L.E.A.D Program- A program designed for personal and career development through networking and
community leadership. Specifically leadership for service. This program requires mandatory
workshops and leadership programs. A certificate will be rewarded at the completion of each tier.
Phi Eta Sigma- Organization that honors students with an exceptional GPA in their freshman year of
college. My GPA was 3.5 first semester and 3.75 second semester. And continues to be exceptional.
AU Spartan Media- I am a regular guest on the television show, Screenplay, which is a show that
discusses topics on pop culture and I write pop culture news articles for the school news paper which
is on the online news column.
NABJ- I recently became a member of this organization and I am excited to join a local chapter
because my school does not have one. I am also excited to network with people in my field and take
advantage of the opportunities NABJ offers.
