In 2001 I Join Al Faris Al Arabi Trading Co. Ltd as Merchandiser and soon I was promoted as team leader.

Job Criteria & Responsibilities:
To develop & maximize sales by Implementing and Managing annual contrasts with key customers in such a
way which benefits & increase sales of the company.
To develop strong & long term relationships between company and nominated Key Account Customers,
through the development of a strong strategic partnership with each Key Account based on professionalism,
integrity and thorough understanding of the market.
Negotiate appropriate business development agreement (BDA) with key customer contacts to drive profitable
Responsible for preparing & compilation of the promotional calendar for each customer.
Arrange promotional activity to maximize sales in conjunction with Key Account buyers and Merchandise
Communicate and negotiate monthly commercial objectives to customers and establish a way forward to
Communicate / Follow-up on promotional SKU listings and ensure modifications are done on the customer’s
Conducts regular business reviews with each Key Account with a view to the development of action plans
leading to improved sales and profitability.
Ensures that all administrative issues in his Key Account portfolio are properly managed and controlled
Listing of all SKUs in all key outlets within the assigned area and provide justifications for listing, Reactivate
blocked and disabled SKUs with Correct bar code information, Correct pricing & correct range listings.
Ensure that display & visibility of company SKUs are in line with market share and BDA agreed with customers
and in compliance with company planogram’.
Follow-up with merchandisers and other sales team on visibility & display implementation.
Support merchandising & sales team for the execution of agreed promotion(s).
Closely in touch with merchandising team by visit markets and review merchandiser reports and document
availability, visibility and pricing of company SKUs.
Coordinate with the marketing Dept. to develop the quarterly promotional plan on customers’ level to
achieve sales target and customer penetration strategy.
Work collaboratively with sales team and merchandisers by sharing best practices to maximize growth of
product(s) within set customers’ portfolio.
Track sales expenditures by each customer as per BDA
Monitor/ report to management weekly on competitor activities (big events, new products, promotions).
Prepare / update reports required by management (price survey, Listing tracker, visibility tracker, new
product tracker, etc…).
Monthly and quarterly forecasting of each SKUs according to the regular and promotional needs of Key
accounts and Managing its distribution to other branches
