Why is the slimming yoga needed? basically improper metabolism and lack of good circulation of blood, lymph and water content of the body due to sedentary life style such as using too much AC, consuming the food fast , food not digested completely, anemic body with menstrual stagnations, eating without appetite , eating habitual disorders, exposure to the external damp humid climates, improper digestion leads to constipation can lead to abdominal bloatedness, lack of water metabolism resulting in heaviness in the body are the body types which can be dealt with slimming yoga. Other complicated hormonal diseases, hereditary health issues are all not dealt with slimming yoga and the yoga techniques for major ailments to be given carefully by expert.

Epidemiological studies have proved consistently that work-related stress factor can be the independent risk factor for cardio-vascular and metabolic dis-eases and associated deaths. A recent scientific meta-analysis provided evidence based result that an increase in the risk of myocardial infarction by 50%. Interventions that holistically mitigate work-related stress and inactivity may reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Researches have proved there is link between stress and chronic disease through endocrine pathways of sympathetic nervous system (SNS) including hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA).

A pilot study at Walter Reed Medical Center found Deep relaxation technique (Yoga nidra) play vital role in reducing the symptoms severity of PTSD such as fear, depression, insomnia, anxiety... Pranayama which is emphasized in sudharsan kriya was found to be beneficial in reducing the symptoms of PTSD.
