Project Name 1: ABS (Administration and Billing System) – Manual Testing Organization: Tech Mahindra, Pune. Business Domain: Telecom Project Description ABS is a Module of O2 system. ABS (Administration and Billing System) system is the wholesale billing system of Cellnet. ABS is a system which deals with provisioning of the new/existing customers and invoicing the service providers who then bill the customers. ABS contains many subsystems like Number Management, RPS (Registration and Posting System) performs Service Order Processing, MNP ONM,SIM Mgt, MSISDN Reuse, Call Pricing system, BME pricing system etc. which support various activities while doing ABS testing. Responsibilities As a part of Testing, we do following type of testing: • Regression Testing • Sanity Testing • CIT Testing Responsibilities: • Prepare test cases and review them with the design team • Raise defects in QC (Quality Center) if errors found while testing the interfaces. Get the ETA from the components. • Test the functionality while testing the interfaces and raise defects for non compliance with requirements. • Raise request for data build that would be required for performing the CIT Testing • Follow up with component teams for fixing the defects. • Take defects to its closure. • Daily CIT Status reporting.
