Nancy Nolin, Psychotherapist, and Liz Davidson, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine,
share about stress reduction skills through laugher & fun to address life’s daily stressors
Stress is our emotional and physical response to pressure. That pressure
can arise from external factors including life events, illness (ourselves or
someone close to us) living conditions, work, home and family, study, lack
of some necessity, or the demands we place on ourselves. Even those
events which we see as enjoyable can be stressful, such as holidays,
moving to a new home, starting a better job, pregnancy, parenthood,

and ways to manage stressors on a daily basis. Come and learn how to

use to reduce stress on a daily basis. Learn how being playful can
energize you while reducing stress….
Psychotherapist, Nancy Nolin, LCSW, CADC II, and Dr. Elizabeth
Davidson, Naturopathic Doctor, will share how stress impacts mental
health and physical health. Learn how your thoughts can increase or
decrease personal stress and reduce stressful events. Additionally,
discover how stress affects the body and learn how herbal and other
natural treatments counteract the negative effects of stress.
Nancy Nolin provides mental health and life transition counseling at Wolf
Spirit Services located in Equinox Healing Arts in downtown Lake Oswego.
She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers for
20 years. She is licensed in Oregon to provide mental health services and
certified to provide alcohol and drug counseling. Ms. Nolin’s passion
includes working with women who are exploring transitions in their lives.
Additionally, she specializes in adolescent and adult substance use issues,
as well as, addressing issues of anxiety, depression and trauma. Ms.
Nolin’s approach to therapeutic work is with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
and Mindfulness Practice. Ms. Nolin offers one and two day local
educational workshops and retreats. She can be reached at 971-258-2536.
Dr. Davidson practices naturopathic medicine at Equinox Healing Arts in
downtown Lake Oswego. Her areas of focus include general women’s
health, menopause, insomnia, and weight loss. She believes that the best
approach to healthcare is one that integrates the practices of natural
medicine with those of conventional medicine, to provide an individualized
