Dynamic Decisions Traditional Analytics • Analytics Reporting or statistical insights were used by human decision makers • The frequency would be hourly alerts, periodic dashboards and exception reports Machine to Machine Analytics • High Speed of data means speedier decision needs • Cannot depend upon human review and discretionary intervention • M2M data streams need to be aggregated and fed to decision making “systems” which hold contextual data • Decision making systems need to provide “best action” alerts • Consumption use cases of aggregated data will drive analytics exchanges • Common Standards and formats will arrive for aggregated data exchange
