Liberty Group Ltd (current) – This is a semi independent living setting for young adults who are
vulnerable. I am a support worker and my role is to prepare these individuals for independence. I
support each individual helping them with every day skills they need to become independent.
Fairport Care Services Therapeutic Children’s Home – (January 2014 – November 2014) – Project
Worker – Working with children aged between 10yr – 18yrs. Dealing with emotional and challenging
behaviour. Supporting with everyday living skills. Implementing boundaries and keeping the young
Acorn Group – (November 2011 – November 2013) – Team Leader – residential care home for
children between the ages of 11 -16yrs. My duties included running shifts and supervising staff,
writing and keeping placement and health plans for the young person up to date, implementing
boundaries. Promoting effective and positive communication with the young people, their families,
and social workers. Managing situations which present challenging both physically and emotionally.
Support young people with daily living skills and prepare reviews for them when required.
Care Tech - (Nov 2008 – Nov 2011) – Team Leader - Semi Independent Living care home for adults
with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Developing and implementing support and
health action plans for tenants, dispensing medication, keeping records and looking after their
personal monies. Promoting positive communication with the tenants, their families, advocates and
care managers. Managing situations which present challenges both physically and emotionally.

Nurse Plus - Support Worker - Agency work – I would be sent to different care settings to care for
the elderly or learning disability.
The Minis Bay Bar and Restaurant– Waitress - Taking orders, clearing and setting tables. Serving
drinks behind the bar.
Homebase – Checkout assistant – customer service by serving customers at the checkout, dealing
with customer queries or returns.

I am interested in Travelling. I like to see the world and experience different cultures and ways of
living. I try to keep fit; I enjoy swimming. I enjoy watching comedy and I like going to the theatre and
watching a variety of shows, I like to keep an open mind to different things in life.
