June 2012-September 2012 Shake and Udder Sellingand MakingMilkshakes In the summer of 2012 I worked for a company sellingand makingmilkshakesaround differentfestivals and shows.For example, The Radio 1 festival.This included usingthe till,advertisingaround the shows,working with new people each week and makingthe milkshakes. April 2009-September 2014 The Cooking Experience- Catering Company/Cookery School Chef Assistant/Waitress This roleinvolved assistingthechef with the preparation,cookingand the servingof food. These tasks were frequently performed under pressureand had to be carried out efficiently and to a high standard atall times. Within this position I was also trusted to independently run functions atfront of house includingthe organisation and delegation of staff. January 2009-September 2011 KerseyMill Events Company Waitress As well as working atthe cookery school,in order to gain experience in events management I worked as a waitress and helped set up for weddings and other functions booked in. This would involvehelpingwith table decorations,seating,venue decorations and helpingto serve food whether itwas a sitdown meal or a buffet. However unfortunately the business shutdown.   • 3. Personal Interests and Accomplishments From my pastwork experience I have an obvious passion for food and also enjoy travellingwhich has stemmed from my events management degree. I am also a keen and activesportswoman, in particular running,where I have represented the county in cross-country championships.This personal interesthas enabled me to become a more focused, determined and high energy person. Along with this I played for the university netball team. Head Girl An accomplishmentI feel proud of is becoming Head Girl when at School.This was an important rolewhich consisted of interviewing future teachers, holdingmeetings, and attending governor meetings. Along with this I also showed visitors around the school as well as comparingin frontof big crowds at assemblies and concerts.
