I have recently completed Level Three in Hairdressing at college and I am now looking for a full or part time position within the hairdressing sector or customer service within the retail sector. I aman excellent communicator with a confident manner who enjoys meeting people and working as part of a team, I complete all tasks I amset to a high standard. I like to solve problems I encounter, asking for help when I need to. I ama very practical person, a quick learner, I can follow instructions and I have a flexible approach to my work and the needs of my employer. I understand the importance of providing the best possible customer service at all times. I like to set myself targets so I con tinually achieve things in my life. Work History November 2014 – Present - Rose Green Working Men Club Work part-time as a barmaid at Rose Green Working Men’s Club, this entails welcoming guests in a friendly and accommodating manner, making a great first impression. My duties include serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, responsible for cash handling, replenishing stock including changing beer/gas barrels, check identification to verify the age of customers, cleaning the bar, tables and work areas ensuring they are clean and tidy at all times, opening and closing of the bar including cashing up. July 2012 – August 2013 – Part-time Costa Coffee/Tesco Hattersley Worked part-time at the Costa Coffee Café within Tesco; which included meeting customers and attending to their requests in a friendly and timely manner. My duties included customer service, serving and preparing hot and cold meals, cash handling and keeping all areas clean and tidy. Nov 2011 – July2012 – Part-time Coffee Shop Assistant Worked part-time in a coffee shop; which included meeting customers and attending to their requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. My duties involve serving hot & cold meals, teas & coffees, clearing down at the end of the day and keeping all working areas clean and tidy. Education History September 2010 – June 2014 –Tameside and Hyde Clarendon College During my first year I studied Beauty and achieved Introduction to the Beauty Sector Diploma Level 1 plus Entry 3 qualifications in literacy and numeracy. The following three years I studied Hairdressing where I achieved NVQ Level One, Two and Three in Hairdressing plus Level One and Two in literacy and numeracy. During these years, I concentrated on increasing my development in a range of skills and knowledge relating to the Hairdressing Industry. I completed both practical and theory workloads in all of the following areas - Health and Safety in the workplace; enhanced colouring, enhanced cutting and styling the hair, reception work which include meeting and greeting the clients, booking appointment etc; consultation and good client management/care, and promoting the salon services and products. In my last year I also improved my practical skills by attending the college salon based in Dukinfield every Thursday and Friday where I had a number of regular clients.
