EDUCATION Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Graduation—May 2016 Major: Management Current GPA: 3.40 RELEVANT Recruiting Assistant Internship, Virginia Tech Football January 2013 to Present EXPERIENCE Blacksburg, Virginia  Assist with the coordination of recruiting football talent for Virginia Tech.  Implement the structure to identify, research, and evaluate prospective football athletes.  Facilitate official and unofficial campus visits and football camps.  Aid coaching staff on recruiting related projects.  Managed Beamer Ball twitter account from 2013-2014.  Designed VT Football social media hub, The Hokie Huddle (www.thehokiehuddle.com).  Monitor and update The Hokie Huddle, Signingday.com, and other recruiting sites.  Create VT recruiting newsletter, Beamer Bulletin.  Assist with the design and distribution of other recruiting mail-outs Training Camp Assistant, Minnesota Vikings Summer of 2012 Mankato, Minnesota  Assisted with the day to day operations of the department during Training Camp.  Arranged equipment before practice and reassembled equipment following practice.  Supported the wide receivers coach with his implementation of practice sessions.  Prepped the training rooms, stockpiled supplies, and supplied water during practice. Authored Annual NFL Draft Prospectus & NFL Draft Post-Draft Report 2006-2012 Charlottesville, Virginia  Evaluated approximately 30 hours of college football film each week.  Compiled notes into the creation of a Draft Prospectus, annually previewing over 400 NFL prospects with extensive write-ups and analysis on each player.  Wrote a Post-Draft Report evaluating each team’s draft and predicting how each of their drafts would impact the near and distant future of their organization.  Awarded the Most Outstanding Independent Study Award in 2012.  Earned Outstanding Achievement Award for Career & Technical Education in 2011. Production Intern, Varsity Lights Television Show 2009-2010 NBC Affiliate, Charlottesville, Virginia  Coordinated and edited weekly content with the host, Jerry Miller.  Developed interview questions for host based upon background research of guests.  Assisted with the production sound board, video cameras, and lighting.
