Research ofpossible materials,processes and associated risk assessmentto determine probabilityof success. 2. Developmentiteration – Proof of Concepttrials of primarychoices through laboratorytests. 3. Production reproducibility(laboratory) of the primary material and process candidate. 4. Design Verification testing to confirm the capability to satisfythe design requirements ACHIEVEMENTS  Successfullyidentified the polymer for encapsulation ofa large enzyme through examination of pH sensitivity range,previous research support,and time practicalityof synthesis. As a resultof the research ofchemical reactions myteam successfully created the polymer with the correct properties to encapsulate and release the targetenzyme under desired conditions.  Created Bill of Materials including process supplies and process instruction needed for the experiment.The chemicals and processes enabled the successful synthesis and completion ofthe experiment.  Designed the synthesis process and then confirmed the effectiveness and efficiencyto produce the desired polymer properties. The success ofthe synthesis was a primaryfactor in the success ofthe project and the team.  Encapsulated the catalytic enzyme using freeze thawing techniques which was proven through UV-vis testing after fluorescent tagging. University of Utah – Technical Practicum and Laboratory Aug 2011 - May 2015  Clean-room production processes,procedures and process techniques.  Semi-Conductor and Micro-Electro-Mechanical systems (MEMs) Developmentand production using deposition,etching, masking processes in tandem with nanospec,flexor, and 4 pointresistance testmethods to fabricate micro heating elements.  Ceramic production – Several projects including 1) the production of Die pressed piezoelectric disks ofBarium Titanate (BaTiO3 ) as a transducer for a microphone.2) slip casting and sintering ofcolored Alumina (Al2O3) as 3D gaming parts.  Documentation – Successfullywrote and peer reviewed test plan protocols and completed with approval from the team the associated testreports;all while working to specific projectplan deadlines. Residential Housing Association – Resident Advisor December 2012 - May 2015  Developed materials to train employees in conflictmanagement to meetthe universities regulatoryand policy requirements.  Honed strong social skills bycreating a large communityof students and universityemployees which engaged in social events, personal development,and universityinvolvement through bi-weeklyevents.  Organized and hosted numerous events thatincluded live entertainment,catering,and advertising.  Managed budgetand expenses by completing purchase orders,receiving ofgoods and application ofappropriate work orders.
