National Ngo Dengue Awareness Camp

When hospital are already grappling with shortage of beds, More patients approaching them for treatment of dengue. National Organisation For Social Empowerment has taken an Initiative to set up a free dengue check­up and awareness camp at Bhumiheen camp,near by Kathak School in Govind Puri.The Camp was set up on 26th September with small dedicated team of four voulnteer including doctors. Our volunteer has done their job perfectly to educate needy people about "Prevention and Control of Dengue", around 100­200 People who live in this slums, came to our camp for free dengue check­up. It was another initiative taken by National Organisation For Social Empowerment who has been working for Destitute and needy people. Our volunteer team has set up this camp because dengue test is very expensive which is another headache for poor who earn only 2000 to 3000 per month. Bhumiheen Camp is one of the most insecure area of Delhi, the camp was very congested, poor system of drainage, contracted and narrow streets,after overall our volunteer did their work so nicely and peacefully, people were glad to see National NGO brilliant initiative.
