It allows direct connections to SQL server and many other Popular RDBM’s. I’ll walk through the steps you need to setup a sqoop job and some tips and tricks I’ve learned dealing with sqooping data from SQL Server. Anyone that is working on getting data between RDBM’s and Hadoop would benefit from this session. ”
