There are two categories of users: the one that knows theproduct details and the one that is looking for more details. This page includes all thenecessary info about the product and the shops and the mail attention is given to theprice comparison. By clicking on one of the prices, the user is being redirected to theshop. If this shop is co-operating with pay per click, then is getting automaticallycharged in its account, otherwise is getting charged with the sale.
  • 9. Be Partner ShopAt this page, the interested merchant can see statistical information about thewebsite’s traffic, as the Media Kit, a dynamical number with the names of theparticipating shops and also a video with the website’s tour. • 12. d. Flowchart of InteractionIn the Flowchart of Interaction below is optically explained the procedure in which bcn issucceeding earnings by user and shop. The ways that this can be achieved are different. Forexample, there are accesses through Google results, banners or promotions going to landingpages etc. In this flowchart we can see the most possible scenario of the proceduresomebody can follows, starting from bcn’s home page.A user has the options for finding the product he is interested in through the search engineor the categories. In both ways and after the appropriate filtering, he will be driven to a pagewith the product result. In this page, he will see the product’s details and he will comparethe prices of each shop. Continuingly and after he clicks to the price on the list, he will beredirected to the shop. From this redirection, bcn is earning Pay Per Click (PPC) commissionfrom the hosting shop. While the user is at the shop, there are two options, buying or notbuying a product. If the purchase will be successful, bcn is earning the Pay Per Sale (PPS)commission.
  • 13. About the shop, there are two ways for registration. The first one is through the contactform, in which way a representative person from bcn will contact to the merchant for givingmore info and forwarding apply for a registration. The second way is when the merchantdoesn’t need any more info and proceed to the form “Apply for Registration”. In both ways, the merchant gives the necessary info like URL, XML, main category, VAT number etc. Theseinfo going to be cross checked from BCN and if they fit with the its policy the shop will beapproved. After approval, the merchant will receive an activation mail with the co-operationdetails and how to create an account. In that mail, the merchant by clicking on the activationlink, will be redirected to a page with all the necessary fields for the co-operation, which hasto fill and will be charged with the activation field, as long as the products are published.
