Company Background and History:    We are a new company, recently started as an initiative to address certain areas of training and service delivery within the Local Municipalities and government.     The driving force of Nakoni (Pty) Ltd is not only to be successful and profitable, but to utilize those expertise and profits into a company that does not only benefit itself and those employed by it, but one that invests and assists the community in a common goal.      Nakoni, therefore seeks to empower individuals especially those that were once historically dis-advantage, as well as those that did not have the opportunities that they deserved: namely; education, access to information and assistance with uplifting the community.      Nakoni believes that taking hands with both communities and government agencies we can make a difference and we will make a difference!             3

They are both people of excellence and most importantly people of integrity. It is this solid back bone of individuals that makes a young Nakoni (Pty) Ltd so strong.     Our aim is to empower not only ourselves in business but also those people in the community who would have otherwise not had an opportunity to grow in business and education.     Our mission is therefore a two-fold mission: generate resources to create more sustainable jobs and businesses within the community taking hands with local governments and municipalities around South Africa.                                                                                                 4

Vision and Mission for the future:       Vision and Mission Statement:     Our mission is to establish Nakoni as the premier provider of the finest training and consulting services in Johannesburg, South Africa while maintaining our uncompromising principles and values as we do. The following are the guiding principles that will inform and guide our decisions:     .1. To contribute positively to our communities and our environment.     .2. To equip both young and old people in order to eradicate the “give to eat and live” mentality and rather promote the “give to develop and live” lifestyle. In simpler terms we aim to equip entrepreneurs to be able to stand on their own and be independent.     .3. To embrace diversity as an essential component in the way we do business apply the highest standard of excellence in all our business interactions. recognize that profitability is essential to our future success.       Core Values:     .1. Dr Nicolas F Marais, Ph.D   NAKONI is formed in both races Black & White with 75% of its management team being African Black Females making it compliant with the B-BBEE act.
