  • 1. Press release Guntramsdorf, June 2015 Josef Kampfer Head of Public Relations KAHLES Gesellschaft m.b.H. Danfoss-Straße 5, 2353 Guntramsdorf | Austria Tel: +43 (0) 2236 52020 36 | E-mail: j.kampfer@kahles.at | www.kahles.at KAHLES Helia 3 Traditional values with brilliant optics The long-standing success story of the KAHLES KX/KXi continues to develop and with Helia 3 and a complete product update, is becoming the absolute leading-edge product in the one-inch class. The KAHLES Helia 3 range combines traditional values, innovations and proven technology in a purist design. The three different magnification types and lens sizes (3-9x42 / 3-10x50 / 4-12x44) and their significantly lower weight offer the best possible choice for all hunting situations. The one-inch rifle scopes are manufactured from high-quality aluminium that is anodised for scratch-resistance, and are characterised by their slimline design, particularly light weight and compact dimensions. The proven triple-zoom technology and the high level of light transmission that it creates, combined with the latest optics, provide brilliant and accurately detailed images, from daylight till late into dusk. The latest, leading-edge technology has also been fitted throughout the mechanically operated elements. For example, the elevation and windage "click setting” has been brought to the maximum level and now works with highest precision and repeat accuracy on all Helia 3 models. Particular importance was also placed on a highly developed sealing system. All models are therefore now completely sealed even without dust protection screw-on caps, both from the outside inwards and from the inside outwards. An escape of the nitrogen filling (N2) is completely prevented by the sophisticated design of the turrets, extremely tight manufacturing tolerances and special seals. As a result of these features, the penetration of dust particles and moisture or the misting of the internal lenses in the rife scope is permanently prevented, and that applies even down to a water depth of four metres (pressure resistance of 0.4 bar). • 2. Press release Guntramsdorf, June 2015 Josef Kampfer Head of Public Relations KAHLES Gesellschaft m.b.H. Danfoss-Straße 5, 2353 Guntramsdorf | Austria Tel: +43 (0) 2236 52020 36 | E-mail: j.kampfer@kahles.at | www.kahles.at The 4-12-times magnification range of the Helia 3 has been completely redeveloped, as a result of which almost the same magnification as in the KAHLES 30-mm rifle scope is also provided in the 1-inch (25.4 mm) main tube. Because of the significantly lower weight of 485 g (Helia 5 689 g/Helia CBX/CSX 580 g), the Helia 3 4-12x44 is, both internally as well as when compared with others in its class on the premium market, extremely lightweight and, with its optical quality, the "dominant stag" in its territory. Due to the integration of the KAHLES automaticlight function with infinitely variable, digital reticle illumination control and intelligent memory function, the Helia 3 models with reticle illumination also possess the latest technology. The innovative KAHLES automaticlight function detects whether or not if the rifle scope is in a shooting position and automatically controls the switching on or off of the reticle illumination. The infinitely variable digital lighting control makes it possible to individually adjust the reticle illumination for every lighting situation from very low intensity to extremely bright. Another benefit of the Helia 3 generation, as previously in the KX/KXi generation, also resides in the fact that old one-inch rifle scopes can be replaced particularly easily and at a reasonable price with the innovative Helia 3 product range. Benefit: The existing mounting systems continue to be used in the majority of cases. Helia 3 product highlights: .: Brilliant optics with triple-zoom technology .: Purist-style slimline design with one-inch centre sight tube diameter (25.4 mm) .: Aluminium main tube anodised in matt black with scratch-resistant surface .: Reticle in the second focal plane for discreet reproduction and maximum precision .: Innovative day-time/night-time reticle illumination with automaticlight and infinitely variable digital control (dimming) for all lighting conditions (model-dependent) .: Lowest weight in its class combined with compact dimensions .: Replacement made easy – existing one-inch mountings can be reused The Helia 3 generation is characterised by its low weight, maximum light transmission and innovative technology. All three factors in combination create timeless leading- edge products in the one-inch class!
