Half of the Honoré Mercier Bridge will be closed for seven weeks from Friday, June 20, at 9:00 p.m. to Monday, August 11, at 5:00 a.m. One lane will be open per direction while work takes place. During this period, major work will take place day and night to replace a section of the deck on the federal portion of the Honoré Mercier Bridge, as well as to replace expansion joints and bridge bearings, and to carry out paving and marking work.
