The Portage Resale Shop is a Compassion Ministry that exists to serve Christ in His mandate to : •Feed the hungry • Clothe the naked •Take in the stranger Hearing the command of our Lord Jesus Christ to love one another as He loved us, the Resale Shop has been established to raise funds for ministries of compassion in the community.

  • 17. Volunteers are always needed to lend their unique gifts and talents. We are currently in need of •Community service supervisors- especially a female supervisor •Individuals to help sort, price, organize and cashier • People to help with e-commerce sales on ebay.com and amazon.com • Marketing , desktop publishing, fundraising, and what other talents you have to offer.
  • 18. We are in need of monthly assistance to help offset operational costs, just as missionaries abroad, we have expenses that we need to cover in order to continue in our mission.
  • 19. We need help transporting our young people to and from our projects on Saturdays, and also need help picking up donations around town. The use of a van for our projects would be wonderful.
  • 20. •We are hoping to set up drop-off locations at local churches and businesses as a way to increase our presence in the community. •Making regular announcements to your congregation or organization to help us solicit items to sell. We also need people to volunteer, and certainly need more customers.
  • 21. The more income we generate, the more we can donate. Spread the word about what we are doing, and come in and have a look for yourself.
