The well known Givral Cafe in HCMC has branched "
out to Hanoi with a number of cafe‘— '

the new buildings of Ocean Hospitality around
llanoi. The cafe—bakery—restaurants have become a
rendezvous point for expats for their freshly made sweet treats that range
from croissants to gateaux, cookies and macaroons.
To celebrate the coming New Year, Givral is offering a festive set menu for
two featuring a mixed green salad, pumpkin soup, grilled salmon with
passionfruit sauce and orange sauce, at VND420,000 net.
Just take a stroll to the warm inviting atmosphere venue decorated in red

for all drinks are at VND68,000. The traditional festive gateaux cakes are also
available at all the cafe—bakery—restaurants, including the butcher Yule log
(VND570,000/ piece 40cm in length), the strawberry mousse (VND3l0,000)
and the chocolate and pineapple gateaux (VND400,000).

Vuvuzela Beer Clubs will hold a beer festival called ‘Cheer & Beer’ at all of
its eleven venues nationwide until 15January. Beer lovers will have the
chance to taste various types of beers, from something old and imported from
the top end of the market to a cheap and cheerful bottle for everyday quafﬁng,
such as Belgian St. Sebastian vintages, Dutch La Trappe, Tiger, Cadsberg and
Budweiser, at reasonable promotional prices.
Apart from beers, various games and entertainment are held, including a
lucky draw, live DJ music, fashion shows, magic shows, and live performances by
hot local singers. They are planning to spend around VNDl billion on their largest
ever event. A beer drinking competition is held every Saturday night, with the
