Preventing Prostate Cancer
A new study recently unveiled by the American Association for Cancer Research shows that a low daily dose of aspirin by may
reduce the risk of prostate cancer by as much as 17%. While aspirin has long been used as a daily preventative for stroke and
even heart attacks, it has now been shown to be equally effective n preventing a variety of cancers including prostate, lung,
breast, and colon cancers. Aspirin, and other anti-inflammatory drugs of its kind, has been shown to reduce the production of a
cancer-causing hormone. This is a big unveiling for the world of cancer prevention and certainly something that many people will
be talking with their doctors about in the weeks and months to come.
It is developments such as this that allow people to take control of their lives and do what they can to prevent the onset of
cancers of many kinds, including prostate cancer. Here are some other ways to help prevent prostate cancer:
· Pay special attention to your diet by reducing your intake of fats, especially animal fats, and dairy, while increasing your
intake of fruits and vegetables as well as fish.
· Incorporate exercise into your daily routine.
· Quit smoking. This is one of the most important things you can to do to help prevent cancer of any kind, including prostate

· Manage cholesterol and high blood pressure.
