For Immediate ReleaseHigh School Students Honor VeteransRancho Cucamonga High School to host over 300 Veterans as Living HistoryRancho Cucamonga, CA (May 2013) – On Thursday May 1, 2013 at 9 am, Rancho CucamongaHigh School is inviting nearly 300 veterans to campus in order to honor them for their war-timeservice. As part of the sixth annual “Rancho Remembers” celebration, veterans from WWII,Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf War will be recognized as they come to share their combat andmilitary experiences with students.“The annual Rancho Cucamonga High School Remembers oral history program providesveterans with a unique opportunity to continue the enduring legacy of their military experiencethrough the lives of the students involved in the process.” says Mal Middlesworth, Pearl HarborSurvivor.Veterans will travel from all over southern California and Arizona to share their stories withstudents in small groups of three-four, allowing a personal experience for all involved.
