About 84% are 35 years old or older and the rest are aged 55 and above. These are tourists who don’t mind spending on food, wine, and lodging. They spend an average spending of $714 per day. The statistics presented by Visit Napa Valley noted that 91% of them went to the county for leisure alone, with an average of 1.6 visits per year. Located in the Bay Area, this famous tourist destination attracts more than three million people every year. In fact, many tourists visit to the point that they overcrowd the roadways and nearby areas. It is highly accessible from international airports in San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, and Sacramento. There are about 400 wineries in Napa Valley, occupying about 45,158 vineyard acres or 9% of the total land area of the Napa County.
