Identify Skin Problems, Skin Care, Treatment SolutionsCan you identify skin problems? For instance, there you are, minding your own business, when a red pimple or rash appears on your skin – but why? You'll need to know how to identify the source of skin problems before you can effectively treat them.Often the blemishes and imperfections we find on our skin are the result of skin infections of varying severity. When you are looking to treat infections, you'll want to first identify skin problems before you plan a treatment regimen.RashesOften times these will take the form of skin rashes that can indicate infection or simple irritation. You must first determine whether it is caused internally (as in the case of hives), externally or as the result of a localized infection. Such skin problems can indicate a very serious problem and should be investigated immediate upon noticing them.Sometimes radiation burns such as sunburn. can look like rashes on certain types of skin. Be careful and look for the tell tale signs of biological activity. Bacteria tend radiate out in a circular pattern. When this forms a streak and appears to be moving out of a localized area, it is time to seek professional advice, as such infections can become systemic and present a mortal threat.BlemishesPimples and acne are the most common type of skin problem that people are interested in treating, in part, because almost everyone has some sort of hormonal related increase in blemish or "zit" activity around puberty. While a great deal of money is spent on remedies, some of the oldest remedies are still the most effective against these minor skin infections.

Allergies As mentioned above, some people have severe reactions to internal or external exposures that are actually allergies. Removing the contact that causes the reaction is usually sufficient, though in very severe cases, inoculations are required. For instance, the very common allergy to the zinc found in the buttons of denim jeans, and can be treated by painting over the surface so it doesn't touch the skin. The range of skin problems that are caused by bacteria is high, but problems can also be caused by environment, skin modifications, yeast, fungi like in ringworm or athletes foot and inherited medical ailments like psoriasis and eczema. Seeking out the cause and prescribed treatment will almost always prevent you from making it worse, as seems to often be the case when proceeding blindly. Knowing when to seek medical advice to identify skin problems is also potentially life-saving. To identify skin problems, your doctor may be of great help. Even a dermatologist may sometimes be necessary. Consult them if necessary!
  • 3. Eczema, or dermatitis (its medical term), is a group of skin conditions which can affect all age groups. Up to one fifth of all children of school age have dermatitis, along with about one in twelve of the adult population. Symptoms The severity of the disease can vary. In mild forms the skin is dry, hot and itchy, whilst in more severe forms the skin can become broken, raw and bleeding. It is not contagious. With treatment the inflammation of dermatitis can be reduced, though the skin will always be sensitive to flare-ups and need extra care. It may become infected by bacteriae like staphylococci or viruses, and is more susceptible to such "superinfections" than normal skin. Causes The causes of dermatitis are many and varied, and depend on the particular type of excema that a person has. Atopic dermatitis is thought to be a hereditary condition, being genetically linked. It is proposed that people with atopic dermatitis are sensitive to allergens in the environment which are harmless to others. In atopy there is an excessive reaction by the immune system producing inflamed, irritated and sore skin. Associated atopic conditions include asthma and hayfever. Other types of dermatitis are caused by irritants such as chemicals and detergents, allergens such as nickel, and yeast growths. In later years dermatitis can be caused by a blood circulatory problems in the legs. The causes of certain types of dermatitis remain to be explained, though links with environmental factors and stress are being explored. Types of dermatitis There are several different types of dermatitis, many of which look similar but have very different causes and treatments. The first step in effective treatment of dermatitis is a correct diagnosis. It is very important to see a general practitioner in the first instance, who may make a referral to a specialist dermatologist for further diagnosis and treatment.
  • 4. Skin Infections, Fungal and Bacterial  Skin Infections, Acne Your skin or epidermis is the largest organ of your body. Sometimes infections can develop – some leaving permanent scars. However, our skin normally does a very good job of keeping us together, cooled, protected and mobile. Your skin is a truly amazing thing. This epidermis covers over 20 square feet (1.8 m2) and you’ll shed 40 lbs (nearly 20 kilo) over your lifetime. It is a living baklava of proteins that help us sweat and hold our guts onto our rigid frame. However, this permeable membrane sometimes becomes host to germs of various sorts. Bacteria, yeast and viruses can all invade and multiply in our body’s largest organ.
  • 5. Skin Allergies, Natural Treatment of Skin  Allergies Everyone suffers from skin allergies at some point in their lives, while some suffer from them every single day. Determining the cause of skin allergies can be difficult when there are so many possible substances that can have effect. If you’ve ever had an allergic reaction to food that involved breaking out in hives, you know how frightening the experience can be, especially if you’re in public. If this ever happens to you, you’ll want to know exactly what’s going on, and that it can be difficult to determine in the case of allergies of the skin. However, there are many kinds of allergies of the skin, some more severe than others, and many occurring as the result of a very common product or material.
  • 6. Verrucae or warts can be of several forms, some painful like the Planter’s/plantar type, others causing very little or no discomfiture at all like the common or Flat wart while some again are positively distressing like the genital type or condyloma. Though they are mostly caused by human papilloma virus (HPV), these growths are benign (non- carcinogenic) epidermal eruptions that often go away on their own. HPV may cause cervical cancer in women.
