  • 2.  Preventive maintenance (PM) has the following meanings:  MAINTAINANCE, including tests, measurements, adjustments, and parts replacement, performed specifically to prevent faults from occurring.  The primary goal of maintainance is to avoid or mitigate the consequences of failure of equipment. This may be by preventing the failure before it actually occurs which Planned Maintainance and Condition Based Maintainance

SOFTWARE DAMAGE HARDWARE DAMAGE SOUND  Adjust the sound settings  Test with different audio applications such as Real Player or VLC player.  Install Audio Codecs  Check if the sound cables are working, you can test the issue by using other cables if available. MONITOR  Test your monitor.  Verify that your PC has fully power cycled.  Troubleshoot the cause of the beep code.  Clear the CMOS. INTERNET ERROR  Make sure that script errors occur on multiple webpages  Make sure that the problem is caused by files or settings on your computer CPU  Clean your CMOS battery  Rubbing it a little bit and put it back in.  Check your monitor cable and the VGA card. HARD DISK  Go to Start and open (My) Computer.  Right-click on the drive you wish to check and go to Properties.  Go to the Tools tab and click on the Check Now button  Click Start to launch the tool.
