  • 1. Great Basin National Park, Nevada - What is there to do If you've got a trip coming up, then you've come to the right place. Preparing for a trip can be one of the most stressful things you do. But below we have some advice for stressed out trip goers that can help things run much smoother and not leave you needing a vacation from your vacation. Packing your suitcase smarter will enable you to bring more fun! The best way to maximize space in your luggage is to lay an item flat and roll it up. Roll as many things as you can and fit them closely together. Stuffing socks and underwear into your shoes will save you even more space.
  • 2. When planning a trip overseas, be sure to check on any required or recommended vaccinations and speak to your doctor early about getting them. If you fail to get the shots that are required, you could become very ill while traveling. Alternatively, even if you don't get sick, you may have difficulty re- entering the country and may be forced into a period of quarantine to ensure you aren't carrying any diseases. When traveling, never take an item from someone to transport it for them. No matter their situation or how nice they may seem, this is almost always a trap to convince an unwary tourist to transport drugs or other contraband into secure areas. Even "gifts" can fall into this category.
  • 3. Make sure to research what the weather is going to be like in your destination. This will allow you to pack more appropriately. If it will be cold, you will need to take lots of layers. If it will be warm, then you know you can pack a lot of light weight clothing and sandals. Make sure you double or even triple check all of your reservations before you leave for your trip. Just call the hotels you are staying at or make sure none the events you were planning on going to got cancelled. You don't want to be left stranded with no where to stay or disappointed that your favorite band isn't going to play in the city you are going to visit just to see them live. There's nothing wrong with checking your plans for your trip.
  • 4. Do not put a sightseeing attraction into your travel plans without researching it a little. While the idea of such an attraction is straightforward - go to a landmark and look at it - in practice, many popular destinations will require entrance fees or advance reservations. Being prepared for such requirements will keep you from getting disappointed. Travel on a Boeing 767 for your flight. They have less middle seats because their rows are set up in a two-three-two arrangement instead of the traditional three-three rows. Their total number of seats range from 180 to 250 depending on who you fly with, and they normally operate for long domestic flights. By booking with a Boeing 767, you are more likely to get the type of seat you want.
  • 5. As you make your travel arrangements, consider using the bidding features that are available on several websites to secure your hotel accommodations. You can bid on hotel rooms at drastically reduced prices, but you don't know which hotel you are staying at until they charge your credit card. You can often get at least 50 percent off the regular rate of the room using this method. If you are planning to take a trip that involves children, be sure to prepare them for the trip well in advance of the departure date. You should provide them books that feature the location you will be visiting, age appropriate information, and pictures of places you plan to visit. Also, if there are movies available that feature the location you will be visiting, share them with the children. Depending on the age of the children, the library can be a great
