Our Methodology Our Program… Uses DC as a classroom to study democracy Reflects state and common core standards Encourages students to learn from their peers of all backgrounds Teaches key skills and motivates youth to increase civic engagement Draws on classic questions of democracy Teaches students how to make informed decisions
  • 4.  Program Instructors: Certified in CPR/First Aid, undergone criminal background checks, with students at all times when exploring sites.  Close Up name tag with hotline number. Supervision & Security  Night monitors at each hotel throughout the night.  Emergency Hotline Number: 888.706.3450  Detailed schedule has all pertinent numbers, addresses, etc

Everything!Airfare Academic materials and instruction Hotel accommodations Three meals per day starting with dinner on Sunday All in-town transportation (coach bus) 24-hour supervision including night monitors on each floor of the hotel All admission fees and tips/gratuities Secondary medical coverage and access to Georgetown University Medical Center
  • 6. Important Dates • Total Cost: $1817 per student • Grant money may be available • Scholarships are available for students in need • First $400 Deposit Deadline: February 24th • Final Payment Deadline: April 23rd (there is flexibility)
