Exhibited will be the ultimate Day Cruiser the 909 Benaco, the EuropeanPowerboat of the year 2010 the 717 GT, the classic 606 Riviera and two boat models whichare equipped with a Steyr Motors hybrid propulsion system the 757 St. Tropez and the 686Lido. In order to get a full imagination of this special system, the engine itself will bedisplayed on the booth as well.The long standing collaboration between the Austrian companies STEYR MOTORS( and Frauscher Bootswerft ( hasresulted in the exciting commercial launch of the worldwide first serial Hybrid PropulsionSystem for pleasure boats at “Boot Düsseldorf” in January 2008.Now two years later the Hybrid Propulsion System stepped up to the next level. This yearthe Italian Frauscher partner, Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli, has sold and delivered twoFrauscher boats equipped with a Steyr Motors hybrid propulsion system: at lake Garda, a686 Lido with a hybrid engine is running as a taxi boat around the city Riva which issurrounded by a motor boat prohibited area.
