Summary of success story  Strengthened and organized the farmers, Processors and students as a more cohesive, purposeful and result- oriented groups .  Created awareness and educated the farmers on the improved practices.  As a result of the above, increased yields of rice has been obtained by individual farmers that translated into increased income.  The women Rice processor group has ordered for three(3) sets of processing equipments, following the training they received and the resultant high quality rice they obtained.
  • 52. Summary of success story con’d  Production and delivery of specified Breeder seeds  Some infrastructural facilities put in place in the course of project execution represents some form of rural development & transformation.  The use of poultry manure from the Adopted Schools ‘ poultry farm is an environmental –friendly practice that safeguards the resource base.  The provision of sitting materials and resource books to the Adopted Schools represents some forms of advancement and development.
