On Friday, 14th September 2012, an audit was performed by Lloyds on IT-Staffing’scorporate social responsibility management system after the recruitment agency was nominatedfor certification. On Tuesday, 9th October, the awarding ceremony of the CSR certificate was heldat the headquarters of IT-Staffing in Nieuwegein.“We are of course immensely proud to have managed to achieve this certificate as the first ITrecruitment Agency in the Netherlands!” says Robert da Costa, Quality Manager at IT-Staffing. “TheCSR certificate shows that IT-Staffing has structurally embedded corporate social responsibility in itsoperations. It is a logical result from the CSR philosophy which has been a great part of our companyculture for years.”CSR Performance LadderIT-Staffing has chosen to implement CSR according to the structures and requirements of the CSRPerformance Ladder level 3, as part of their internal quality management system and has taken theCSR manifest of CSR Netherlands as their foundation. All employees have co-signed this manifest forapproval. The manifest will also be part of the agreements which are concluded with IT-Professionals.The CSR Performance Ladder is a certifiable standard for corporate social responsibility whichconnects to existing quality standards, such as ISO 9001. The standard forms a basis for connectingthe CSR aspects people, planet, profit (prosperity) to already existing management systems. Itprovides a framework for translating arrangements in areas such as transparency and honestbusiness, work environment and human rights, environmental impact of their own actions and socialinvolvement to the daily operations of an organisation.At CSR Performance Ladder Level 3, it applies that stakeholders have a direct interest in the servicesand/or to prevent a negative impact by the performance of the activities of IT-Staffing.Read more (Dutch version):
